Marilou, I had recently started working at ShelterBox when you joined the SBOP team and I have fond memories of you and Rose visiting the UK for the first time. I can still remember how shocked you both were at experiencing winter in the UK, but as always you adapted and overcame! It was an absolute pleasure working with you, and I’ll always admire your persistence and energy in everything you did. Whether it was building the SBOP team, helping to set up the warehouse, or visiting many different offices to secure the tax exemption for Typhoon Odette.

You’ve had a huge impact on hundreds of thousands of lives, and you have undoubtedly left the world in a better place, which is all any of us can hope for. 

Rest in Peace Marilou, it is truly well deserved.
