Months have passed and Paul is as missed as painfully as day one .Paul’s laughter and wisdom is so sorely missed in every way. As way of putting thoughts into words I thought I would write a letter to the wonderful Paul Wheeler Dear Paul You brought fun and happiness to every room. I was so proud to be your friend , you enabled me to be proud of myself as well. From the Canaries  to Chicago we had the most fun all I remember is laughing till we were in tears . I am dreading negotiating an airport without you  as my helper lol . You knew all my foibles and helped me to laugh at my own ridiculousness .   The end of the bar in Roddys is a quieter place where you are missed by a whole community . I miss your advice and so often ask myself what would Paul do . You were such a trusted companion , I always knew that you would be there for me without judgement . You were so loved and it gives me comfort that you knew this and did not suffer . Helping to look after you was the honour of my life , your wit ,huge charm and honesty made me a better person and I am lucky that in a world of billions serendipity allowed me to spend so much time with you .
