Anthony was such a dear man.  Very kind.  (If you can be one thing in life…, be kind.)  He was thoughtful and caring, and often wickedly funny.  A wonderful host.

In the mid-nineties, I had the great privilege of staying a few days with Anthony and Michel at their home in Forna.  I’d never been in such fabulous company before.  Their banter was priceless.  Their quickfire humour kept me on my toes!  Their long history together was, at that time, something I had never been able to imagine for myself.  They were role models of a kind.

Carlos and I were so pleased that Anthony could be at our wedding in 2014. He was sporting a unique and well-chosen hat. So stylish.
