Chris, you were such a kind, clever, thoughtful man. We worked together for 15 years, both at Friends Life and later at Aviva. I have seen your career grow from being an engineer, to a lead engineer, to a software architect and finally a promotion to platform architect in my team. Our teams valued your expertise and kindness, that you were always available for a chat, and you had a great sense of humour. I will miss you dearly. My days won’t be the same ever again – you’re the first suggested person on Teams because we spoke almost every day. I cannot believe that you’re gone. Rest in peace my amazing friend.
