I did not know Michael personally, but we have a special connection through the forest that he and Patricia restored, and which we continue to protect here in the Tandayapa Valley.

This is evidence of a pact with nature which has synthesized intelligence, knowledge, heart, and practical understanding. His is a legacy of life for the birds, indeed for all the species of this area of the Andean Choco.

His energy is present in this territory and accompanies in some way, our group of neighbours as we move towards the creation of the new Private Protected Area Bellavista-Tandayapa, to ensure that these beautiful mountains live forever.

No conocí personalmente a Michael, pero se creó un vínculo especial a través del bosque que restauraron junto a Patricia, y que hoy seguimos protegiendo en Tandayapa.  

Aquí está la evidencia de un compromiso que ha conjugado inteligencia, conocimientos, corazón y sentido práctico. Es un legado de vida para las aves y todas las especies en esta zona del Chocó Andino.

Su energía está presente en este territorio y acompaña, de algún modo, al grupo de vecinos que impulsamos la nueva Área Protegida Privada Bellavista-Tandayapa, para asegurar que estas bellas montañas sigan vivas por tiempo indefinido.
