Evelyn and I had been at the University forever. I knew her back in her Engineering days, and it was great when we both moved into the College. She was always so lovely, cheery and helpful – she knew everyone and everything. A perfect colleague. Both being from the ‘Well and of a similar age we used to enjoy catching up on the happenings in the town and discuss our mutual acquaintances! I don’t pass her office without thinking of her. My condolences to all of the family.
