I was so shocked and deeply saddened to hear about this. Chris and I worked together at Aviva for about 3 years, mostly remotely. I was part of the Aviva SG team. Even though we didn’t get to work together in person very often, he was someone I always remembered fondly. He was incredibly smart, kind and always willing to help. Whenever we needed his support, he was always there for the team, helping us move things forward and making sure we could get the job done on time.

I still remember when Chris came to Singapore and worked together with us for a short while. We sent him an infographic on how to order coffee the local way! He also shared how much he enjoyed Sentosa beach before flying back to UK. These may seem like such small memories, but somehow they have stayed with me. He was so humble and funny, and the person we saw in real life was exactly the same Chris we knew from our Teams calls.

I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with him and to have had the chance to work with him. He left a really positive impression on me, and I will remember him not just for how smart he was, but for his kindness, humility and the warmth he brought to the team.
