Such desperately sad news. Reading all the tributes to Helen has left me very moved. What an impact she had on so many people, both professionally and personally. Just a lovely person, so helpful and supportive when I worked with her in Defra and that continued when I left. I’m so proud to have called her my friend.  I send my thoughts and sympathy to all her family and friends. We have lost a star.
