You and I were very similar in that we both found sharing our feelings awkward, so I will start with a few funny memories to get started. One of my favourite moments was when we were working in the office and you, me and Michelle were having a chat. Michelle’s knee cracked and you recoiled in such horror at the noise, you nearly fell off your chair. Me and Michelle could not stop laughing at how overly dramatic your reaction was, we had tears in our eyes! Another great memory is when you told me you liked to give people a country and western nickname. I once came into work with eyelash extensions on and that was the day mine was created. Going back to us both being awkward, you once came round to my house to drop a wedding present off from you and the team and we didn’t know what to do. We just stood there for what seemed like forever just smiling awkwardly. We were both asking are you ok? Yeah are you? Yeah, good thanks are you?. Think we both needed to work on our small talk haha. There are so many more that I could have shared, and they are keeping me smiling through the tears. I loved your sense of humour, I loved how easy going you were, and I loved that you were not just a great boss, but a great friend too. I really am going to miss you (and I’ll even miss you telling us all about those terrible reality T.V shows you loved so much haha). I am devastated that I am writing this today, but I am also so grateful to have had you as a friend. You really will be missed so much Sarah.
