Dave, I wonder…

How many people you have inspired,

How many safety professionals you have mentored,

How many accidents you have prevented,

How many safety cultures you have transformed

How many people had the honour of calling you their friend.

Life is short but not a day lost.

Your safety shoes may have walked their last steps,  but your legacy will live on through those you have influenced along your journey.

The safety profession has lost one of its founding fathers, I have lost a cherished friend.
