Stephen Fell

By now, Ardell and Chris, you will know just how loved, admired and respected Stephen was by so many people spread across the world as you read the accolades and messages that are pouring in.

Stephen taught both of my children and so well did my daughter do in her Chemistry GCSE that she chose to take it for A level. Now that was a very different academic pursuit but Mr Fell spent numerous extra hours with her, as he did with many students, explaining over and over until the penny dropped. His patience was boundless and he made lessons fun. Those lessons were renowned and many of us teachers were envious of his reputation!

Stephen was such a kind gentleman who would always take the time, even if only for a fleeting moment, to say hello and ask how you were. He seemed to be forever smiling and jolly—that was the persona he showed to us. People like to be around folk like that, hence his great popularity. How much we will miss him.

I trust that the words that you read in this Book will bring you comfort and make you smile. Stephen now rests in peace and will rise in glory.

God bless.
