I’ve been a part of IOP for 16 years, and throughout that time, Dens has been a constant presence. However, it wasn’t until the Media team was established that I truly got to know her well. I came to appreciate her sharp sense of humor and sarcastic remarks. Dens was known for her straightforward communication style; she didn’t hesitate to voice her opinion if she thought an idea was terrible. Her confidence and control over work projects were evident, especially during the formation of the Media team.

I’ve been searching for a photograph from around 6 or 7 years ago, taken during the summer company event, where Dens, myself, Sam Parsons, and a few others were engaged in orienteering.  She was really good fun during that walk and she made sure we didn’t get lost! 

The news of Dens’ sudden passing is so sad. Her absence will leave a significant void. My heartfelt condolences go out to you, Ewan, family and friends. Dens was an integral part of IOP, and her memory will very much continue to endure.
