It is with great sadness that I write these words. Stephen was my colleague for over 20 years. He was always cheerful, entertaining and kind. It is hard to imagine the school without him and I know how much all his pupils admired him and enjoyed his lessons. He made us laugh and always greeted us with a smile. I will never forget our yearly trips to the Chinese restaurant in Canterbury for Chinese New Year with all the boarders, quite a logistical feat. He will be sorely missed and I send my condolences to his family.
