I was so upset and shocked to hear of Mandy’s passing.  I met Mandy through MOVE4U with Isaac Oppong and we would meet regularly at Barnet Leisure Centre for our exercise sessions. I watched her progress and improve and she was always such fun to be around and, as you know, highly intelligent.

I watched how she encouraged Isaac to carry on with his studies and we both pushed him to keep going, as it is pioneering work. Mandy kept coming up with ideas, offering to read his papers and help him in any way she could.

We tried to keep in contact with Mandy and we were very worried when didn’t hear back from her.

Mandy would talk about your grandchildren with such  love in her eyes.

I know that Mandy had many interests and was a very a interesting person. She always knew the answer!
