I was shocked to hear of Louise’s sudden death, I’ve known her since the 1980s and for most of this century she has joined me on many athletics OBs, initially taking care of sub mixes and moving up to take over the main event mix. Always helpful and an excellent organiser I very soon learnt to leave a lot of the paperwork to her. She was, as others have said, extremely professional and knowledgeable – always ready to share her knowledge but never too proud to ask for advice and expand her already encyclopaedic knowledge. I shall miss her (many) stories over a pint or meal. She will be sorely missed by us all.
