Iain was a lovely man full of kindness and thoughtfulness. I first met him (and his lifelong pal – Walter) playing colts cricket at Worcester Park Cricket Club. We played loads of games together – for Saturday or Sunday 2nd X1 or on cricket tour in Cambridgeshire. Iain always had fun and saw the lighter sides of playing cricket. He was an excellent batsman, a good wicketkeeper and he kept telling me he was a great bowler (when I captained him)! When I caught up with him in recent years after his diagnosis for MND, he loved to reminisce about the games we had together and the people we played with and those we played against. Iain will be sadly missed by all who knew him at Worcester Park and beyond. Rest in peace Iain.
