What a shock. And a tragedy. I remember Bernard as a man of great integrity. He was creative, insightful and unflappable. A deep and original thinker. He was a delight as a colleague, when I served as a NED at the Institute. We have lost a major contributor to the world of healthcare. May your gentle soul rest in peace, as your Irish forebears would have said.
