Derek was an amazing friend, I cannot believe that he won’t be around anymore. I loved walking to the kitchen because I knew I could always talk to him on the way and disconnect from work. He was so cheerful, and always smiling and in a good mood, no matter how badly I would mess up forms and requests. I will miss our chats a lot.
