I had the privilege of working with Laura in the early 2000s. Laura became the Family Support Manager for the Early Years and Sure Start Programme. She was an amazing manager – energy, vitality, enthusiasm and vision, were the hallmarks of her work. People loved working with Laura because of her warmth and kindness as well as her deep knowledge of her area. She taught me a lot about how to engage families in a meaningful way. I was, like all who knew her, saddened by her too untimely passing. She was a joy and a person whose legacy will live on. x
