Amer was one of the first people to greet me as I joined Kantar nearly three years ago. In those early days when I was taking my first steps into a new job and my head was spinning with new faces and new ideas, Amer always made himself available to lend a hand, offer his guidance and wisdom. That never changed. He was never too busy for a question or a chat. Never missed an opportunity to support those around him. Never failed to pass on what new thing he had just learned. More than anything, Amer had a deep well of kindness that never ran dry. I am immensely saddened by his passing but also truly thankful that I had the opportunity to know him.
