I am a fee paid (part time) Judge and I knew Ashley as one of the full timers.  He was always happy to answer questions and was patient and kind.  But he was more than just a source of information, he was also friendly and funny.  The last time I saw him we were laughing at a humerous article on a legal gossip site – if law firms were films, what would their posters look like?  I will miss popping into his room when I am in Fox Court and will always have fond memories of him.
