Ewan was infectious in passion, spirit and charisma. I remember our first meeting – to discuss 3D printing some parasites and the inception of the sandfly project – lasting so much longer than we’d meant because Ewan was so engaged in bouncing ideas back and forth with me. He was hyper-intelligent, driven, excited, and just all around a wonderful person. His impact on the world is felt, and I am honoured I was able to work with him far too briefly. I send all of my love and condolences to his close family and friends during this extremely difficult time.
