Particularly as I had just spoke to Ruth the week before on one of our semi regular confabs on how to get a supplier to accept our regulatory exemptions, it was shocking to hear of Ruth’s passing.  Over the years, despite suppliers’ threats of turning on all charges by X date, somehow Ruth always made our conversations on eliminating those threats so full of jokes and irreverent humor that they were pleasures rather than chores.  Not many people could make a minor blizzard of excel spreadsheets and balky supplier portals enjoyable but, somehow, Ruth always did. 

My condolences to Ruth’s family for their loss.  Ruth won’t soon be forgotten and BT is a poorer place without her.
