The days feel long, the nights are slow,

And our hearts will never let you go.

But then a feather drifts to me,

So soft, so light, how can it be?

A robin lands and seems so stay,

As if you came to say, I’m okay.

These little signs bring gentle peace,

a touch of hope, a sweet release.

For though you are gone from sight it’s true,

The world still finds a way to you.
