2000 – 2001

11th October 2000 was a special day, not just because of the birthdays of my sister and mother-in-law Lynda, but it’s the day me and Adrian got together. This cheeky, funny kind and caring guy came into my life and changed it forever. We were totally obsessed with each other and rarely apart. Even with a sound system worth more than his car, I still wasn’t put off.

We spent hours driving round in his metro, meeting friends and getting to know each other. During these first few years Adrian was already working hard at A&R Motor services as a panel beater, he was already showing great skills in his trade. 

We continued to get to know each others families, I left school and started at college. Adrian would take me anywhere i wanted until I passed my driving test. Then he insured me on his car, his current pride and joy, fiat punto. I would stay at Adrian’s house, get up ealry and go with him or work, then he’d let me take his car for the day to college and, I would pick him up after work.
