I have a very clear memory of the last time I spoke to Brandon, and the excitement with which he told me about the work placement he had just secured for the coming year.  It’s tragic to think that that was the last time we will ever speak.  He was a big presence on our Business and Economics Foundation Year programme, always willing to contribute ideas in class, and very often the first to do so, such was his enthusiasm for the subject.  RIP Brandon, gone way too soon.
