Matt Anstice

Dear Natasha, Bertie, and Freddie,

I wanted to take a moment to share a few words about your dad, because he truly was someone who left a mark on everyone lucky enough to work with him.

He had this wonderful way about him—witty, warm, and always ready with a smile that could brighten even the busiest day.He never rushed past people or hid himself away; instead, he made time for everyone. It didn’t matter how busy things were—he would stroll into the OCC and settle in for a chat.

Your dad also had a mischievous sparkle in his eye, especially when he came in for “the latest gossip.” He never wanted anything unkind—just the joy of staying connected, knowing what was going on, sharing a few laughs, and being part of the team.

But more than anything, he was kind. Kind in the small, important ways —checking in on people.

I hope it brings you some comfort to know how deeply he was respected and how much he brightened the days of those around him. He will be missed, but we also feel grateful—grateful to have worked alongside him and grateful for the laughter he shared .

Please know that his spirit, his humour, and that brilliant smile of his will not be forgotten.

 With heartfelt sympathy and warmth

Georgina
