It is really hard to put into words what a truly special man Mat was! I really echo all of the sentiments about him. I spent 6 months in his team during my training contract and he was always so friendly and bubbly. I will always remember fondly him saying ‘hellooo darling’ when he walked into the office. He was a great friend, mentor, advocate for the vulnerable and such a proud dad. George and Charlie if you are reading this – he spoke about you all the time and couldn’t have been more full of pride to be your dad. I know in the last year he was at his happiest with his new career path and relationship with the lovely Fi. I am sending so much love to all of Mat’s family and friends (of which I know there are so many, which is a true testament to who Mat was and the lives he touched). I will never forget you Mat, you will be greatly missed by so many. Rest in Peace xxxx
