Chris, I only got to know you relatively recently as our paths crossed a few times this last year or so during the building of the new Music Department facilities at Lichfield. I was always struck by how friendly, good natured and approachable you were. I saw you and we spoke for the last time only a week ago when you helped me load my PA equipment in ready for the opening of the new campus in Tamworth. A simple, humble act of kindness that struck me at the time and seems all the more poignant now. I can see from reading these messages that you were well loved, and you will be much missed. My deepest sympathies to your family and friends.
