Darren was simply an amazing person to work with and will be sorely missed by everyone who worked with him in whatever capacity. He will never be forgotten.

He was one of my first checkout managers many years ago and was always supportive and fun to work for. Darren was always jolly, ambitious, a real team player and encouraged me to try something different and push myself out of my comfort zone. It’s been lovely seeing him over the years dipping in and out of different stores and more recently based with us again at Heyford. He was a massive support to us last Christmas-coming down to help us during a particularly busy day-throwing himself behind the team and not stopping all day.

I will miss him walking through the store in the mornings and having a chat. My sincere condolences and sympathy to Sheryl, Chloe and Harry- he was a wonderful man and I’m so very sorry for your sad loss.
