Stefanos Zymis
The loss of Stefanos and Maria has filled me with sadness and shock, and has left a great void in my life. I started working with Stefanos during my first week at Savills, remotely during a Covid lockdown, and I immediatly realised how much of a kind, funny and bright person he was. Four years on I pretty much never stopped working with him, accumulating years of countless valuable life, work and economics lessons. Always sharing valuable insights, always talented at problem-solving, and always keeping an optimistic outlook, he has often left me ponder “What would Stefanos do?” whenever I face a challenge.
Stefanos has been a great mentor and line manager over the last four years. What I have learnt from him, personally and professionally, is immeasurable. He has inspired me to strive to always be for others what he has always been to me, a kind, caring and patient man, willing to give his time to help others. The impact he has had on me, on colleagues and our team will be long-lasting, having left is mark on our lives for the better.
He always had a joyful and calming presence. He took great interest in our hobbies, in our passions and in our lives outside of work, and he loved telling us about his. He always proudly told us about his holidays and his weekends with his family, spent barbecuing, going to birthday parties and playdates, going to walks in Epping Forest and to swimming classes with his children. My deepest thoughts and sympathies are with Nena, Andreas, and all his friends and family.
