Ali was an excellent colleague and has been missed enourmously. He was incredibly supportive when I started at Wexham and went out of his way to support and teach me. He always made time to listen to colleagues and it wasa a pleasure to watch him interact with patients. I mainly worked with him on labour ward, where he had admirable empathy for women in pain and responded as quickly and proffessionally as he could to make patients comfortable. I saw him advocate for women many times, and he undoubtedly had a very positive impact on the experiences of many women. He was always willing to help and would arrive quickly with a joke and a cheeky smile. 

I would like to express my deeepest sympathies to his family.
