I am very fond memories of Simon Northridge. We met al several scientific meetings, and I think the first was the gillnet meeting at La Jolla in 1990. Before that, we kept in touch on thematic issues, since we were both studing the interactions between marine mammals and fisheries. In 1984 I requested him his FAO review. That made for us a frequent contact. When we met we shared experiences and results. Simon was a thematic reference for me, but he was also a sensitive and very pleasant person. I am very sorry that he passed away and I will miss him very fondly. Kike Crespo.
