The candle may have gone out 

But as I sit in the darkness…

The memory of your smile 

The humour and the jokes 

Light up the room again! 

Filipe, you may be gone 

But your memories and passion

Shall live on, in the hearts of many

I treasure all your hard work 

And am glad, at the last occassion 

You received your flowers 

I appreciate all that you did

As a partner and enabler

And then, a friend  

You helped built our dreams

Into what has now become Legacies in Malawi’s ecosystem 

With such a loss,

Words are few

But you will surely be missed!
