On behalf of UCL, I wanted to extend our deepest sympathies to Lady Harshida, Nikita, Rishi, Shayan, and family. Sir Ashok was a wonderfully warm, kind and knowledgeable man, and we will miss him greatly. 

Sir Ashok graduated from UCL in 1974 and remained a lifelong supporter and friend of the University. His generosity and guidance contributed hugely to the success of our ‘It’s All Academic’ campaign for UCL, which raised vital funding for research, innovation and education. We were so privileged to award Sir Ashok an Honorary Fellowship of UCL, and to share such a special ceremony together earlier this year.  

Sir Ashok, you will forever be a part of our community, thank you for all that you have done for UCL. The world is a better place thanks to your partnership, entrepreneurial insight, kindness and dedication to supporting others. We will miss you.
