I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend, Chukwudi. We used to share our PhD office, and I can’t help but remember how calm and kind-hearted he was. Our memories together, from attending seminars and worksops to co-teaching, are very special to me. Chukwudi was an incredibly dedicated person, often staying late in the office to help others with their dissertations and assignments. One thing that I will never forget about Chukwudi is his contagious smile. Even in the face of academic challenges, his positivity was a source of strength for us all. The office won’t be the same without him, but I’m grateful for the memories we shared and the lessons learned from such a generous and caring soul. I extend my deepest condolences to Chukwudi’s family and loved ones. I hope they find comfort in the beautiful memories we all have of him.
