I first met Jude at Downend boxing club and got chatting with him. He was a warm and friendly young man and whenever I saw him box I would cheer him on as would others from Blandford Boxing club. He would always say hello when he saw me and my son.

I saw him box in Sheffield in 2019, at the junior championships, where he showed his talents to the full, becoming national junior champion. He was a great boxer and a lovely person to have met.

My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family and all at Downend Boxing club.
