Its difficult to put in to words the sense of loss we have in Mercer as a result of Michael’s passing. Michael was a great colleague and I enjoyed working with him over many years as he brought significant intellectual rigour and discipline to our whole process for managing our investment activities for our clients. He didnt suffer fools gladly and was a formidable sparring partner certaily on technical investment matters – but it was always done with the greater good in mind and never with any animosity. He was also great fun in a social setting and loved nothing more than team events and social activities. We’ll miss you Michael and to Michael’s family, I hope you get the support you need through these difficult times. Rest in Peace Michael.
