I worked with Chris for more than 20 years and I can honestly say he was the most influential and loyal of all of my clients.  When we first met, I was a young, rather green investment manager, however after a somewhat inauspicious start, he clearly saw something he liked and took me under his wing.  The trials and tribulations of financial markets and events such as the Great Financial Crisis, Covid and others came and went with the minimum of fuss. I never felt anything other than fully supported.

I was lucky enough that beyond work, our friendship blossomed and my conversations with him went far beyond finance and often revolved around his life in Suffolk, and his love of art, sculpture, his family and his horses. Life has brutally robbed us of a fantastically kind, genuine man who will live long in my memory.
