I would like to express our sadness at Cooks Midlands after hearing the news of the passing of Amilcare Merlo and send our condolences to his family.

I was lucky to have met Mr Merlo on numerous occassions when visiting the factory over the last 26 years and was fortunate to engage in a couple of conversations with him.

He was always interested in our opinion of the machines and how they could be improved.

He has left a fantastic legacy which i am sure will continue to grow and develop along with his vision for future success.

May he rest in peace.
