Stefanos Zymis
I am so terribly sad to hear the news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague Stefanos, and his young daughter Maria. My thoughts and best wishes are with Nena, Andreas, and the rest of his family at this extremely difficult time.
I met Stefanos when I first joined the Savills Economics team more than 8 years ago. He has been the rock of our team since I joined. You knew with Stefanos on the team everything would be ok, a solid pair of hands at the reigns. He was cool, calm, and professional in all that he did. We travelled the country working on important projects, and he was always on time, looking smart and ready to work hard. I loved our debates about complex urban problems, followed by catch ups over the best coffee, guitars, but mostly about how our kids were doing. As a father with young children of a similar age, we shared many stories of our families growing up, learning the ropes of fatherhood as we went along. It makes the circumstances of his passing all the more painful. Both he and his daughter had so much to live for.
Speaking to him always made my day better, and I will never forget him.
I wish your family all the health and wellbeing possible, and hope that their shared memories of you provide comfort at this difficult time.
