I was so sad to hear the news about Leslie’s passing. He was one of the first brokers I met when I joined the market and ever since I have loved our catch ups, especially hearing all about the latest festival or concert he was going to, always seeing bands I’d never heard of!! He was a brilliant broker – able to tread that line between grumpy when he needed a deal done for the client but then a great person to chat to and learn from. He always enjoyed giving me nicknames – especially to do with my maiden name – which he always found very funny (thankfully I did too :)!). He will be sorely missed and every time I’m at Enoteca I’ll be sure to raise a glass in his memory.
