Working with Rose was a joy and privilidge. We worked together in the Integrated Discharge Bureau at the Queen Alexandra. It was often challenging and hard however we laughed together every day. I held Rose in the highest regard; she was a talented manager, kind and always very astute. We always had lunch together and talked about all sorts of things, often all the absurdities in life! I would notice that her lunch box was always full of nice treats lovingly provided by her husband.
We dressed up as social workers for International Nursing Day and took round cakes which was a lot of fun. We actually got into a fair bit of trouble over this with the social work manager afterwards but we both felt it was worth it! This is us in the picture as a parody of social workers!
Rose was a very special person who I will never forget. My thoughts are with her family at this very sad time.
