Sending my most heartfelt condolences to Alan’s loved ones. He truly was one of a kind. I remember seeing a photo of him and a client on a poster in the London Centre when I was a student and wondering if I’d ever meet this famous music therapist. Fast forward a few years and I’m lucky enough to have him as my people leader when he came over to the North West team! He was such a kind and supportive man, who always had time for a chat. He always had time for a giggle as well and I will never forget his iconic laugh. I am so deeply upset that he is no longer with us. He had such a huge impact on so many people – his clients, his colleagues and students and I am so grateful to have known him. Sending all my love to his family, friends and anyne who knew him.
