Although we hadn’t come across each other for a while, I’ll always remember Darren. My first contract with Sainsburys in 2011, I can recall spending a couple of hours in Shorehead with Darren going through some “wonderful” Cash Office process maps. He had a great sense of humour but also very driven as a manager. We did meet each other several times after that in Holborn, mainly outside whilst Jon Free was having one of his many cigarettes! My condolences to his family and all his colleagues.
