It was such a pleasure to have known Charlotte, and so difficult to comprehend her loss.  

When Covid-19 struck, Charlotte, along with Adam Knight, were tasked to build, within a very challenging timeframe, a border health portal – that became the Passenger Locator Form. I affectionately refer to her as Mrs PLF.

Despite promotion taking her in another direction, Charlotte remained passionate about the work that continued on it. She even offered to receive calls through her Christmas leave period, when a health event occured. Bringing calmness and sound advice to the situation.

So whilst Charlotte leaves behind the legacy of a border health portal, that places the UK in a good position for pandemic preparedness, she leaves behind a more lasting legacy  – demonstration of every quality a person should strive to hold.

She naturally led and inspired everyone who had the absolute pleasure to know her.

Gone too soon…..thoughts and prayers with her family and loved ones. x
