The passing of Adey hit many of us very hard and he will be greatly missed. He was very supportive of me and others when we joined the division – always happy to help in any way.

Adey was a very special person and brought so much to those he interacted with. Never shy in sharing his views on various topics, our conversations were always very interesting and he often shared some very unique perspectives. One thinsg was always consistent – the need for cleanliness and tidyness – and it brought a smile to everyone each time Adey went through his workday preparations! Among many other qualities, it will be these unique behaviours that will be missed.

On the occassions we went out socially, he showed his deep love of music and always wanted everyone to have a good time. He was great fun and a always a pleasure to be around.

Adey loved his family deeply and they were alway the driver and central to everything he did. I know he will always be watching over them as they grow and make the most of opportunities that life has to offer. He was very proud of them and will always be.

Your life was shorter than we would have wished for you, but know that you made a difference and had an impact on the lives of so many. Rest in peace, Adey.
