Your professionalism and knowledge shone through from the moment we met, as did your humility, humour, caring attitude, desire to educate and help.  I learnt a great deal from you on those early projects some 20 years ago and I saw your career grow.  I was looking forward to working with you again, approaching SLR and asking specifically for your input.  Alas, not this time mate, but we’ll do our best by you.  My thoughts and love are with your family, your spirit being carried forward in them.  Rest in peace.
