I worked with Stuart for much of our careers at the CAA and worked with him on a number of projects acrss the years, including the establishment of the CAA’s Wellbeing Programme and Wellbeing Board.  The last piece of work we collaborated on was our attempts to support the recognisation of airports for their Covid protections.  I always appreciated his support and counsel; he had a keen mind and a keener sense of humour, but always delivered in a gentle and compassionate way that I was really drawn to.

Despite him having left CAA in 2022, his presence has always remained in so much of what we do and I will remember him fondly for everything he brought to the CAA and to all of our interactions.
