It’s always tough starting at a new company, but when I joined The AA nearly two years ago, I had the great fortune of landing the desk next to Aussie.  No matter what pressures he faced each day, there was never a dull moment when he was around.  He always had a smile, a joke, an interesting story, or a bit of advice – all the important stuff like, the best cycle route from the village to the office, to encourage me to keep fit, or his recommendations for chick flicks to watch.  Both of us having two daughters, he’d share some parental advice, and he loved to talk about his beautiful daughters and show me pictures on his phone.  It was clear that he was an incredibly proud Father, and Husband. 

I am grateful I was able to know Aussie, even for this relatively short amount of time, and my prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
